I had already done a post about Tsubasa Masuwaka's fake lashes which she had created in collaboration with Koji Spring Heart, however, a little birdy had told me that she didn't only create the popular, common fake upper lashes, but also the fake lower lashes that are adored and loved by gyaru gals and that is a constant presence in their make up pouches.

Similar to the inital lashes that were launched, there's a variety of lashes for different purposes and looks, its really difficult to not be amazed and feel the urge to purchase all...

Met Pochi recently for some much needed stress relief and just some good girls time to gossip, shop and relax....

Anyway, I shall digress by focusing on my feather headband, I had actually bought it some time back at another Flea market, but hadn't had the opportunity to wear it out till today.

Its one of the latest hair trends in many Japanese magazines, but even if it wasn't I still love it anyway for its quirky look, despite my parents and sis claiming it looks like a dead animal had landed on my head...

Muto Shizuka (Vidal Sassoon + Rady)

Muto Shizuka, one of the more popular models of Koakuma Ageha fame seems to have a rather busy schedule lately. She's seen doing advertisements constantly for clothing brand Rady and her latest project is doing a commercial for Vidal Sassoon's "Premium Magic Shine" hair straightener.

I think she's a really great model not to mention she's extremely tall and slim, such a contrast to Sakurina (the current top model of Ageha) whose pretty petite (much like me). I also love her feminine and sweet style.

Can't wait to see what other projects she's working on....

Tsumori Chisato for Shu Uemura

This is a rather late post and despite wanting to be on top of the fashion news, this is so old that the products are already available in both Japan and the US. However, the products are simply too cute to not blog about.

Like the title above, Tsumori Chisato (a famous Japanese fashion designer) has designed a special collection of cosmetics for Shu Uemura. The resulting collection is heavily influenced by her F/W 2009-2010 collection: she had taken inspiration from the famous children's book, "Le Petit Prince"by Antoine de Saint-Exupery and the starry sky for the packaging.

Considering that she focuses alot on prints and "manga/bohemian cuteness", the limited edition make uppredominantly features glitter, stars and playful rendering of her signature, cats. The collection was released in US counters in September 2009, while the Japanese market released it just recently, though Isetan in Tokyo's Shinjuku neighbourhood started selling it back in late October.

Tsumori Chisato was also involved in the process of creating this fabulous collection by selecting the packaging and contributed to the selection of shades of the cosmetics itself, which ranges from bright pinks to shiny gold. Perfect for all women.

As said by Tsumori Chisato herself, "In any collaborative project, expressing my own individuality is most important.... I designed all of these for a happy and peaceful Christmas holiday season. "

The make up collection includes:

• A mini-brush set in a gold zippered case for 6,825 yen


• Two palettes containing blush and eyeliner for 7,140 yen


• A highlighter compact for 5,040 yen
  
• Three shades of lipstick for 3,465 yen


• A quilted makeup bag for 8,400 yen


• A set of fake eyelashes studded with crystals for 6,825 ye

There is also a set of three lip gloss shades in a pink drawstring pouch that is exclusive to the Shu Uemura's store in Omotesando Hills Shopping centre and a few other department stores located all over Japan. Its currently retailing for 4,410 yen.

New nail polish

Sorry, covering my face as I haven't done my make up yet...

as you can see, the nails appear navy..

After I've done my make up and my hair, but didn't really feel like showing my face... here my nails appear dark blue/black...

Been splurging on nail polishes recently, as being rather broke, they're the only ones that can at least scratch my itch to buy things without breaking the bank, plus not to mention I've recently started this habit of painting my nails every week.

Today's nail colour is L.A. Girl's Disco brites, in a colour called Hustle. Its pretty weird, it looks kindda like dark purple in the bottle, but looks like navy when painted on in white light, under yellow light it goes back to dark purple and it appears black in the dark.

Pretty weird, in a good way....

Went to the Bf's cousin's wedding recently, and it was the most low-cost, stinking cheap wedding that I've ever been to. I mean seriously, who rents a chalet for a wedding? Not to mention the groom was on his handphone 3/4 of the time and the bride disappeared somewhere halfway and the food was a sucky buffet spread.

I wore a dress as I was thinking it'll be more like a beach wedding, but it started to rain on the way there, and with my bare shoulders, I felt so sorely under dressed. Plus sadly, I was one of the better-dressed ones there, most others were in t-shirts and bermudas...

Ugh... worst wedding ever!!!

Finally, actual pictures of the fake lashes that are the result of the Koji and Tsubasa Masuwaka collaboration. Judging from the pictures, most of the lashes are actaully quite natural looking and extend out further towards the outer corner of your eyelids.

No news if the products would be sold outside of Japan, but they're currently being priced at 1,260 Yen.
