I initially wanted to update about my recent cosplay event but its importance pales in comparison to the suffering and woes of the people and animals that have been affected by the recent tsunami. I've never been a deeply religious person but tonight, I'll pray to whoever is listening, for safety for the living, that families can be reunited and that the dead will be at peace.
I know it isn't much but it's better then acting like nothing happened and it's reminded me just how fortunate I am to be living in a country that is hardly affected by natural disasters. It also reminds me just how short and fragile life is, so learn to live but stop to help along the way too.
